Klever Kidz started when Jeremy and Kyleigh realized the need for early care education in the McAlester area. Kyleigh resigned as an elementary school teacher and opened Klever Kidz Academy in June 2011. Kyleigh holds a bachelor’s degree in elementary education and an associate degree in early childhood. She has a Platinum Director’s Credential. Jeremy has been an Oklahoma Highway Patrolman for 14 years. He also holds an associate in child development and helps the center with day to day operations. The Tolman’s have one child, Charleigh. The Tolman’s reside in the McAlester area and enjoy the outdoors and lake time with family. They love the town of McAlester and want to continue making sure the children of McAlester receive excellent care and learning for many many years to come.
Hi, I’m Kyleigh! I’m the owner of Klever Kidz Academy. I’ve owned Klever Kidz since 2011 and was a public school teacher prior to opening the center. I have a bachelor’s degree in elementary education and an associates degree in early childhood education. Also, I hold an Oklahoma Platinum Director’s Certificate. I am very passionate about Klever Kidz Academy. I believe every child should be given the opportunity to experience a safe, high quality, educational early learning adventure.
My vision is for Klever Kidz not to be just daycare, but to be a true preparatory school experience and to foster lifelong learners. When I’m not at the center, I find my calm through traveling and spending time with my family. I love being a mom to my daughter Charleigh and having fun with her, my husband Jeremy, and friends.

I have been working at Klever Kidz Academy, since August of 2019. When I started working at Klever Kidz Academy, I was a nursery teacher working with newborns to six month olds.
My favorite part about working in childcare is watching the kids grow, from babies into young adults. When I am not at the daycare, you can find me with my three kids and husband, tending to all of our animals, or one of the many activities my children are in.
I joined the Klever Kidz family in 2013! For over a decade, I have had the wonderful privilege to expand my education in early childhood development as assistant director.
My favorite part of this job is seeing each child flourish in our fun, educational learning environment. In my spare time, I love hiking, reading, and spending quality time with my sweet family and friends!
Epic Learning Facilitator
Hello! My name is Lindsay Ward. I am a certified educator and instructional leader with a deep commitment to meeting the needs of every learner. I hold certifications in Early Childhood Education, Mild/Moderate Disabilities, Severe/Profound Multiple Disabilities, and Elementary Administration.
I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, along with a Master’s degree in K–12 Special Education Instruction and a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership. I have also begun training in the LETRS program to further strengthen my foundation in evidence-based literacy instruction.
As an Arkansas native who moved to Oklahoma in 2015, I have had the privilege of teaching students from preschool (age 2) through 12th grade in both general and special education settings. Working across grade levels and ability ranges has shaped the way I see education — not as a standardized system, but as a deeply personal journey. I know firsthand that there is no one-size-fits-all approach to learning.
I am passionate about designing learning experiences that help students make sense of the world around them. Whether I am teaching, developing curriculum, or leading educational initiatives, my goal is always the same: to create environments where students feel seen, supported, and challenged to grow into confident problem-solvers and capable leaders.
Assistant Director
My name is Braylee Beshear and I am the assistant director at Klever Kidz Academy. I started working here part-tine when I was in high school, and through hard work and dedication, I’ve grown into my current role.
I graduated from Eastern Oklahoma State College and now I am continuing my education at Carl Albert State College. My favorite part of my job is getting to watch each child grow, learn new things, and become who they are.
I love building strong, meaningful bonds not only with the children, but with their parents as well. I’m passionate about providing a safe place for kids to come learn, play, grow, and have fun. Being part of their journey and growth is what makes what I do so special.
