In 2025, Klever Kidz Academy proudly emerged from the transformation of Scissortail Learning Academy. This was driven by a steadfast commitment to enhancing educational opportunities for Oklahoma’s children. Amidst recent challenges, including proposed emergency rule changes to the STARS program threatening child care availability statewide, Klever Kidz Academy remains dedicated to providing top-tier educational child care services. Our mission is rooted in community engagement and fostering a nurturing environment where children thrive academically and socially.
Hi, I’m Kyleigh! I’m the owner of Klever Kidz Academy. I’ve owned Klever Kidz since 2011 and was a public school teacher prior to opening the center. I have a bachelor’s degree in elementary education and an associates degree in early childhood education. Also, I hold an Oklahoma Platinum Director’s Certificate. I am very passionate about Klever Kidz Academy. I believe every child should be given the opportunity to experience a safe, high quality, educational early learning adventure.
My vision is for Klever Kidz not to be just daycare, but to be a true preparatory school experience and to foster lifelong learners. When I’m not at the center, I find my calm through traveling and spending time with my family. I love being a mom to my daughter Charleigh and having fun with her, my husband Jeremy, and friends.
Hi, we are Kyleigh Tolman and Keaton Ross. The first KKA location was opened in 2011 in McAlester with Wilburton following in 2023, and our second McAlester location opening in 2025.
Between the two of us, we have have a master’s degree, bachelor’s degree in elementary education and an associates degree in early childhood education, an Oklahoma Platinum Director’s Certificate, and Certified Academic Language Therapist certification. We are very passionate about Klever Kidz Academy and believe every child should be given the opportunity to experience a safe, high quality, educational early learning adventure.
